The 1991 Ulster Press Team Captained by John Devine won the Interpro competition at Harbour Point, Cork, in June 1991 by a wide margin after John McAviney in the final singles match scored 44 points. Prior to that the only
Ulster win was some years before in 1986, when captained by Brendan McCann.
Ulster won when the competition was played at Warrenpoint.
